Instructions of vinyl flooring
 

A. Preparation
※Cut up the sheets 24 hours before fitting in the work area; temperature of the work area: 10-32℃
※Tools: blade, steel ruler , adhesive paper, cold welding fluid;
※Subfloors: flat,dry,clean, using levelling compound when necessary for a better subfloor.


  B.Fitting
※ Cut up sheets: cut up sheets complying with the chronological order of the packaging numbers and reverse the sheets when fitting (see illustration I);
※ Joints: overlap both edges by about 10mm after matching of patterns and cut both sheets at the same time using a straight blade guided by a ruler and remove both cut edges (see illustration II);

※ Gluing: lift both edges and place the adhesive paper under the joint, then release the sheets and smooth them carefully to make sure that they stick to the adhesive paper firmly;
※ Cut off the seal of the cold welding fluid bottle above the cutting line with a blade and fasten the nozzle (see illustration III);
※ With the bottle up-side-down, put the nozzle in the joint and squeeze the bottle and move the nozzle following the joint and spread the fluid evenly in the joint (see illustration IV). And 30 minutes after the welding, the joint will be firm and dry if the work area keeping at the temperature of 20℃.


 

C.Treatment of corners:
※ Cut the excess covering in the corners with a blade guided by a ruler and remove the trimmings.

 

 

 

 

 
  D.Maintenance:
※ Clean the surface thoroughly with a damp cloth or a mop before use. For daily maintenace, the same way is acceptable or you may sweep off dust or stain with a broom or a neutral detergent for severe contamination if necessary.
※ Heavy furnitures should be underlaid with something other than rubber;
※ Clean a stain immediately if contaminated by corrosive, colorant or pollutant.
